Breaking: Police ask anyone with information about his identity to contact them; the thefts totalled more than $1,500, police said.

HOWELL, NJ — Howell Township police are seeking the public's help in identifying a man they say is connected to a pair of shoplifting incidents in Howell two weeks ago.

The incidents happened on Jan. 14 and Jan. 17, Detective Sgt. Christian Antunez said.

In the incidents, the man pictured in the photo above was seen on surveillance video at the Target on Route 9 putting several Google Home systems, home security systems, DVDs and clothing into a bag before walking out of the store without paying, Antunez said. The value of the stolen items is approximately $1,500, he said.
