13-Year-Old Howell Girl Found Safe: Police
The girl was found on Monday morning, police said.

HOWELL, NJ — A 13-year-old Howell Township girl who ran away on Sunday has been found safe, Howell Township police said Monday.
Cynthia Lopez, 13, was found in the Village Square strip mall near Walmart after a customer noticed her, police said in an update.
She had altered her appearance to avoid being identified, police said in the update on the department's Facebook page.

"She is not injured. She is in police custody. Thank you to all that assisted," the update said.
Howell police said she has run away before.
