Missing Howell 13-Year-Old Found Safe: Police

HOWELL, NJ — A Howell Township boy who disappeared Tuesday on his way to school has been found, Howell police said Wednesday.

Jess Peleo, 13, was located in New York City, Howell police said in an update on Facebook about 3:15 a.m.

Peleo was reported missing at 10:30 a.m. after he failed to arrive at school, police said, and indications were that he may have taken a bus to New York, where he was eventually located sometime late Tuesday or early Wednesday.
