HOWELL, NJ — Motorists are urged to avoid Old Tavern Road on Saturday night, after a motor vehicle crash forced authorities to close the road.The road was closed from Route 547 to Preventorium Road until further notice, police said, while Jersey Central Power &amp; Light works to repair a damaged utility pole.Police did not release details about the crash. There was no estimate for when the road will reopen.
