Parent University Registration Is Open In Howell Schools

Workshops will discuss issues pertaining to curriculum, supportive behaviors and more.

HOWELL, N.J.— Parents in the district can now sign up for Parent University, presented by the Howell school district. The parent of any student in the district may attend.

The program, which explores various aspects of the educational experience, takes place from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. June 7 at Howell Middle School North.

Seating is limited, and parents must register. The event is free, and free childcare will be provided by the Howell Police Athletic League.

Parents can register for two 45-minute workshops. Visit the school website to register and view all the workshop topics.

Some of the topics include understanding and interpreting the health and family life curriculum; issues about vaping; maximizing students' potential; civics instruction for the Middle School; children's literature; and exploring "giftedness," among other areas.
