Police And Pumpkin Palooza Set For Sunday In Howell

The event had been scheduled for Columbus Day but it was postponed.

HOWELL, NJ — The Howell Township Police Department is inviting township kids to join them for some pumpkin painting, some pumpkin games, and some pumpkin fun at the Howell Police & Pumpkin Palooza on Sunday.

The event is scheduled for 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.at Twin Pond Farm Garden Center and Country Market at 1473 Route 9 North.

The first 500 children will receive free pumpkins. There will be pumpkin bowling and ring toss, pumpkin basketball, pumpkin slingshot and a pumpkin moon bounce. There will be a corn house, a corn maze and a hay bale maze.

Paint a pumpkin with a police officer, and there will be a food truck and entertainment by DJ Greg Nice. Special ticket pricing will be offered.

The event originally was scheduled for Columbus Day but was rescheduled due to expected rain.
