Recycling Collection In Howell Delayed By Staffing Shortage

The township's recycling contractor has a staffing shortage and residents may need to wait a day for pick up.

HOWELL, N.J.—The township is alerting residents that recycling collection may be spotty because of a staffing shortage by the recycling contractor.

In a Facebook post, the township advised residents that if "your recycling is not picked up on your scheduled date, please leave the recyclables at the curb and they will be picked up on the following day."

The township said if recycling is still not picked up in this time frame, to contact the township Department of Public Works at 732-938-4500 x2451 for more information, or email the department at dpwoffice@twp.howell.nj.us.
