HOWELL, NJ — A ruptured sewer line has caused the closure of Route 547 in Howell Township on Thursday, police said.

The closure is from Old Tavern Road/Herbertsville Road to Maxim Road, police said.

The waste water/sewer line is causing flooding and running off into a nearby stream, police said.
