Sobriety Checkpoint Planned For Howell On Saturday

Drivers on Route 9 north will be redirected to Regal Plaza for the checks late Saturday night and into Sunday.

HOWELL, NJ — The Monmouth County DWI Task Force will be conducting a sobriety checkpoint Saturday night in Howell, from 11 p.m. Saturday to 3 a.m. Sunday.

All northbound vehicles on Route 9 will be diverted into the Regal Plaza.

Members of the Task Force will work alongside local officers on both nights to check drivers for sobriety, said Chief Michael Schneider, Allenhurst, the Monmouth County DWI Task Force coordinator.
