
Just in time for the Halloween season, NINE Theatricals returns to the Howell Library on Saturday, October 19 with a 1940s style radio play based on Alfred Hitchcock's acclaimed movies: The Lodger and 39 Steps.
Come to the Library for an afternoon of live theater by the master of suspense, Alfred Hitchcock, in the classic style of radio theater complete with microphones and sound effects. the play begins at 2 p.m.
The Lodger: Story of the London Fog, was Hitchcock's 1927 British silent film based on the 1913 Jack the Ripper horror novel by Marie Adelaide Belloc Lowndes. The 39 Steps was Hitchcock's 1935 British spy thriller inspired by the 1915 adventure novel by John Buchan.
