Volunteers needed to create artwork for fundraiser at Brandywine

Proceeds will benefit 10-year-old Girl Scout battling leukemia

HOWELL -- Volunteers are needed to create art décor for an upcoming National Assisted Living Week fundraiser at Brandywine Living in Howell that will help a young Girl Scout who is fighting leukemia.

The fundraiser will be held from Sept. 12-18 and is for Riley Risden, a 10-year-old girl who was diagnosed with pre B acute lymphoblastic leukemia in May. Proceeds will go toward helping with her medical expenses.

Backdrop artwork needs to be created ahead of time that encompasses the event’s theme of “Compassion, Caring, Community.”
