Water Main Break At Howell School: Police
Breaking: The leak is in the gym and the school has not been evacuated, police said.
HOWELL, NJ — The Taunton School in Howell Township has a water main break inside the school's gymnasium, Howell police said Monday.
The break has resulted in several police and fire company vehicles responding to the scene but the school has not been evacuated and the students are safe, officials said.
The elementary school, at 41 Taunton Drive, has roughly 430 kindergarten-through-second grade students and was built in 1978.
