The storm that rolled through our area on Wednesday night caused the phone system of the Howell Public Schools to malfunction into Thursday morning.
Superintendent Enid Golden said all phones in the district were down as a result of the storm. The initial expected time to have the system restored was 9:30 but as of 10:15 they were still not functioning.
