JEFFERSON, NJ — If dinner tastes better with lake views, live music or a few laughs, Jefferson-area restaurants have all three covered this weekend.
At Pat's Bar & Grill in nearby Mount Arlington, diners can pair the menu with 5 Equals 1 from 8 to 11 p.m. Friday, Rene Avilla during the same hours Saturday and The Regulars from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Sunday. Open-mic comedy follows at 8 p.m.
Sunday brunch takes a waterfront turn at Alice's, 24 Nolans Point Park Road. Served from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., the menu includes blueberry cheesecake-stuffed pancakes, vegan French toast, shrimp and grits, braised beef hash and eggs, and a Southwest breakfast bowl.
For drinks and shareable plates, Stone Water at 125 State Route 181 publishes a happy-hour menu featuring Wagyu wontons, twice-fried wings, calamari, meatballs and cocktails.
The Windlass, 45 Nolans Point Park Road, rounds out the choices with seasonal waterfront dining, wood-fired pizza and seafood.
