2 Seriously Injured In Hit-And-Run Crash In Jersey City: Prosecutors
Both victims were hospitalized after the moped they were riding was struck by a second vehicle early Saturday morning, prosecutors said.

JERSEY CITY, NJ — A man and woman were seriously injured early Saturday morning in a hit-and-run crash in Jersey City, prosecutors said.
The crash happened shortly before 12:30 a.m. near Martin Luther King Drive and Wilkinson Avenue, according to Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez.
Prosecutors said a 36-year-old East Orange man and a 26-year-old Newark woman were riding a moped when it was struck by a second vehicle. The driver of the second vehicle then fled the scene, according to Suarez.

Both victims were taken to Jersey City Medical Center for treatment. Prosecutors said the vehicle that struck them was identified and later found.
It's unclear if the driver of the second vehicle will face charges.
