25-Year-Old Jersey City Man Killed In Fiery Early-Morning Crash: Prosecutors
A 25-year-old Jersey City was killed in a collision near Journal Square early on Monday morning.
JERSEY CITY, NJ — A young Jersey City man died in a fiery vehicle crash on Kennedy Blvd. early Monday morning, the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office said.
The Jersey City Police Department responded at about 2:22 a.m. Monday, May 15, to a report of a collision on Kennedy Boulevard in the area of St. Pauls Avenue, prosecutors said.
Officers found a vehicle fully engulfed in flames on the northbound side of the roadway. The driver, tentatively identified as a 25-year-old Jersey City man, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Prosecutors did not reveal any other details in the crash.
The Hudson County Regional Collision Investigation Unit is investigating this case with
assistance from the Hudson County Regional Arson Task Force and the Jersey City Police
