HUDSON COUNTY, NJ — As Jersey City's restaurant scene continues to expand, it's getting another healthy eatery. Alfalfa, a salad and wrap shop that's also known for its unique donuts, announced Friday that it will open its third location there.

Alfalfa already has a location at 1110 Washington St. in Hoboken, the former Schnackenberg's Luncheonette. It's also got a location in Santa Monica, Calif.

On Friday, the owners said they'll be opening in the Powerhouse Arts District of Jersey City, which abuts the waterfront/downtown area.
