JERSEY CITY, NJ — Hudson County's second annual Earth Day celebration will be held in Lincoln Park on Jersey City's west side this weekend.
This year’s theme is “Our Future, Our Planet," said officials at the Hudson County Improvement Authority.
"It is a reminder that the future is something we shape through our everyday choices," organizers said. "The theme highlights the connection between the health of our planet and the quality of our lives, our communities, and future generations."
The “Weather Bus” will debut, an opportunity to explore climate change, which has caused extreme weather and other changes.
The free event will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday in the Fountain Lawn area of Lincoln Park.
