BEDMINSTER, NJ — If the weekend shopping list could use fresh produce, local treats or simply a slice of pizza, the Bedminster Farmers Market has plenty lined up Saturday.
The farmers market runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at River Road Park, bringing together more than 30 farmers, food makers and other vendors. Organizers said the event will be open "rain or shine" and encouraged visitors to support local farmers and vendors.
Alstede Farms, Cabbage Throw Farm, River Bend Farm and Recklesstown Farm Distillery are among those expected. Shoppers can also browse baked goods, jams, mushrooms, pasta, flowers, soup, pesto and other locally made specialties.
Come hungry: Testo Pizza will operate the food truck, while The Johnny Woods Band will provide live music.
Between the local flavors, live music and community spirit, it promises to be a lively Saturday morning in Bedminster.
