NORTH JERSEY — Congressional incumbent Rep. Rob Menendez is facing three challengers to keep representing New Jersey's 8th District in Congress. The district includes much of Hudson County and parts of Newark and Elizabeth.
Menendez, a Democrat who run the primary in June, faces no Republican opponents on the ballot this time around.
He does face candidates Craig Honts from the Socialist Workers Party, Da'Shone Hughey from the We The People Party, and independent Aristotle Eliopoulos.
The winner will serve a two-year term.
The general election will be held the first Tuesday in November.
