Evening Under the Stars: A Taste of Jersey City is York Street Project’s outdoor community fundraiser, bringing together Jersey City restaurants, bakeries, coffee, boba, vegan food, desserts, and drinks for one relaxed night out with a purpose.

This is not a formal gala or sit-down dinner. It is an outdoor tasting-style evening where guests can walk around, try food from local partners, enjoy drinks and live music, and spend time with neighbors, friends, coworkers, and community members.

Event Highlights

A few highlights from this year’s food and beverage lineup include:

• 87 Sussex: Barolo-braised short rib with white sweet potato mousseline
• Mutecki Ramen: Chashu pork buns, karaage fried chicken, mazemen ramen, and beef sukiyaki udon
• Gaia & Loki: Vegan penne alla vodka and spinach mushroom empanadas
• Uni Uni Boba: Matcha, Assam black tea, and jasmine green tea boba
• Cocoa Bakery: Pineapple upside down truffles and mocha caramel truffles

Additional food and beverage offerings may be added or updated before the event.

Proceeds from Evening Under the Stars help sustain this work and support families building long-term stability in Jersey City.
