NJ Coffee Shop Whose Cinnamon Buns Were Praised By Blake Lively Opens Jersey City Location

The Hive, a coffee shop with a playroom and famous cinnamon buns, just opened in Jersey City, with a similar vibe to its Hoboken cafe.

JERSEY CITY, NJ — Say hello to the Hive, a new Jersey City coffee shop with a children's playroom, owned by two Hudson County moms.

The store opened on Monday at 615 Jersey Ave., following in the footsteps of its flagship Hoboken location, which opened in 2020.

The store has become famous nationally for selling gooey cinnamon buns that have attracted attention from celebrities such as Blake Lively.

Besides selling coffee, baked goods, and homegoods like candles, the shop is known for having a small children's playroom, so moms can sip while their kids cavort.

The hours, for now, are Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
