Video shows the dangerous fire that was ripping through several homes in the New Jersey community.

JERSEY CITY – A dangerous fire was ripping through several homes in New Jersey, officials said.
The firefighters were in "defensive mode" about three hours after it started around 4 a.m. on Wade Street, according to News12.
That means the fire was too dangerous to fight from the inside, News12 said.
