Father Of 3 Gunned To Death In Jersey City, Gets Love Letter From Fiancee
A father of three was gunned down in New Jersey on Thursday, and his fiancee posted a video love-letter to him on Facebook soon after.

The video shows Donald McLaughlin III swinging on what appears to be a hammock, hugging and kissing his fiancee, telling her how much he loved her.
She got the opportunity to say it back, only now he's gone, no longer around to read the love letter she wrote on Facebook after learning about his death (see video below).
McLaughlin, 37, of Union City was gunned down on the Jersey City streets on Thursday.

"The nights we spent together, the mornings that we shared trying to get ready for work. We never wanted to leave each other which is why we were always late everywhere," the fiancee, who was not identified, wrote on McLaughlin's Facebook page.
"Just yesterday morning, you were with me talking and laughing and kissing me. You were sooo happy and in good spirit, and so was I," she wrote. "I need you. I LOVE YOU."

McLaughlin was discovered at approximately 8:30 p.m. on Thursday after police officers responded to a report of shots fired in the area of Central Avenue and Graham Street in Jersey City.
When officers arrived, they found McLaughlin unresponsive on Central Avenue. He had suffered from an gunshot wound to his torso and also a blunt force trauma injury to his head, according to Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez.
First aid was immediately administered and McLaughlin was subsequently transported to Jersey City Medical Center by Emergency Medical Services, where he was pronounced dead at approximately 8:55 p.m, according to the HCPO.
A second victim, a 26-year-old Jersey City man, was treated at the scene for injuries to his head and body. He was also transported by EMS to JCMC where he received treatment and was released.
No arrests have been made in connection with the shooting, but some people, such as McLaughlin's fiancee, took to social media to pay their respects and remember his generosity and spirit.
A GoFundMe page also has been set up to pay for funeral expenses, and for his children's expenses.
McLaughlin's dad, Donald McLaughlin II, told nj.com that he was was inside watching TV when he heard a large thud on the door. "My other son, Irving, ran through shouting, 'They're shooting at us!' I took it as a joke, but I noticed spots of blood on his shirt. He said 'I think they shot Donnie!'
McLaughlin told nj.com he ran outside and saw his son on the ground across the street with his eyes wide open, but he was unresponsive.
He told nj.com that McLaughlin III was engaged to be married to the mother of his 3-year-old girl, and that he has two other children, a 17- and 18-year-old who live in Florida. He was a Lyft driver and was enrolled in a mechanics training program.
McLaughlin II on Facebook said his son was shot by a "coward" who has not been found.
McLaughlin's fiancee, meanwhile, said she's having trouble sleeping since he was shot and killed. She feels lost and she wants to tell him how he she feels. But she did take the time to thank him, over and over, for everything he did for her.
