2 Firefighters Injured, Dozens Displaced In Jersey City Heights: Reports
A fire in Jersey City Heights injured two firefighters and one resident, reports say.
JERSEY CITY, NJ — Firefighters raced to Franklin Street in Jersey City Heights on Tuesday afternoon to battle a three-alarm fire, according to scanner information and a report.
Quoting an official at the scene, Jersey City Times reported on Tuesday that at least one firefighter was injured in the blaze, and 30 people were left homeless. The report said two buildings were damaged.
ABC News reported that two firefighters and one woman were treated for non-life-threatening injuries. The fire damaged 119 and 121 Franklin St., the report said.
