Fitzgerald Named Family Lawyer of the Year by Hudson County Bar
SEIDEN FAMILY LAW'S CHRISTINE FITZGERALD NAMED FAMILY LAWYER OF THE YEAR BY HUDSON COUNTY BAR ASSOCIATION AND FOUNDATION

Seiden Family Law in Cranford announced today that Christine C. Fitzgerald was named 2018 Family Lawyer of the Year by the Hudson County Bar Association and Hudson County Bar Foundation. Fitzgerald will be honored tonight at an annual event at Liberty House Restaurant in Jersey City.

Fitzgerald has been practicing family law for more than 11 years, combining her experience with complex family law cases with compassion and empathy to help her clients navigate the divorce process. Admitted to practice law in New Jersey, New York and before the United States District Court of New Jersey, she is certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Matrimonial Law Attorney and is a member of the Executive Committee of the Family Law Section of the New Jersey State Bar Association and a former Co-Chair of the Young Lawyer Family Law Subcommittee. She is currently serving as a trustee with the Hudson County Bar Association and is a member of its Family Law Committee. She serves as an Early Settlement Panelist in Bergen County and was the Recording Secretary of the Young Lawyer’s Division of the Hudson County Bar Association.
In 2014, Fitzgerald became a graduate of the Family Law Trial Advocacy Program, a specialized matrimonial litigation training given by the American Bar Association’s Section of Family Law and the National Institute of Trial Advocacy. She frequently lectures throughout the state with the New Jersey Institute of Continuing Legal Education, New Jersey State Bar Association, and the Hudson County Bar Association; and has written numerous articles, including “Right to Parent Versus Right to Privacy” for New Jersey Family Lawyer. In December 2017, Fitzgerald became licensed to practice law before the Supreme Court of the United States of America.

Fitzgerald received her Bachelor of Arts from Seton Hall University in 2002 and her Juris Doctorate from New York Law School in 2006. Prior to entering private practice, she served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Thomas P. Zampino, J.S.C. (retired) of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Essex County, Chancery Division, Family Part from 2006 to 2007. After her clerkship, she further honed her experience and legal skills at several prominent family law firms in Bergen, Hudson and Morris counties.
