Hit-And-Run Driver Seriously Injured Cyclist: Hudson County Prosecutor
A hit-and-run driver left a bicyclist with life-threatening injuries early Saturday, Hudson County prosecutors say.
JERSEY CITY, NJ — A hit-and-run driver left a young bicyclist with life-threatening injuries in Jersey City Saturday morning, prosecutors say.
A 21-year-old Bayonne resident on a bike was struck just before 5 a.m. near Garfield Avenue, Gates Avenue, and Seaview Avenue in Jersey City, said the Hudson County Prosecutor's office on Saturday evening.
"The striking vehicle did not remain at the scene. The victim was transported to Jersey City Medical Center where he is in critical, but stable condition," said prosecutors.

Prosecutors have identified a vehicle and person of interest, they said.
The Hudson County Regional Collision Investigation Unit and the Jersey City Police Department are investigating.
