Hit-And-Run Driver Strikes Jersey City Woman: Prosecutors
A hit-and-run driver sent a pedestrian to the hospital over the weekend, Hudson County prosecutors say.
JERSEY CITY, NJ — A hit-and-run driver struck a woman in Jersey City on Saturday, sending her to the hospital, prosecutors said.
Shortly before 8 a.m. Saturday, the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a pedestrian struck in the area of John F. Kennedy Boulevard and Duncan Avenue, said the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office.
Police found a 37-year-old woman with "serious but non-life threatening injuries," prosecutors said.

The driver left the scene, prosecutors said.
The victim, a Jersey City resident, was taken to Jersey City Medical Center and remained in stable condition as of Sunday, prosecutors said.

The Hudson County Regional Collision Investigation Unit is investigating.
