Inch Of Rain Expected To Fall In Jersey City Throughout Thursday
While it won't be a major storm, forecasters expect rain throughout Thursday in Jersey City.
JERSEY CITY, NJ — While the unusual storms that have taken 20 lives in California aren't expected to hit North Jersey, planners should be aware that events on Thursday may be soggy.
The National Weather Service expects three-quarters to an inch of rain to fall on Hudson County during Thursday and as much as another half inch at night.

the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 100 percent. New precipitation amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.
Thursday Night: Rain, mainly before 1 a.m. Steady temperature around 43. East wind 5 to 9 mph becoming northwest after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 80 percent. New precipitation amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
Friday: A 30 percent chance of rain, mainly before 1 p.m. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 48. Breezy, with a west wind 11 to 20 mph.
