Jersey City-Based Imperial Dade Acquires Ohio's Mailender
A distributor of food service packaging and janitorial supplies, Imperial Dade adds the distributor of janitorial supplies and packaging.

JERSEY CITY, NJ —Imperial Dade, a Jersey City-based distributor of food service packaging and janitorial supplies, on Friday announced the acquisition of Mailender, an Ohio-based distributor of janitorial supplies and janitorial packaging. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
According to Imperial Dade, Mailender, which is headquartered in Cincinnati, has built a reputation for its knowledgeable sales force, extensive selection of products and superior customer service.
With the addition of Mailender, Imperial Dade said it hopes to strengthen its existing presence in the Midwest and better reach customers across the country. According to a release, Imperial Dade now will operate over 90 facilities across the country, solidifying its position as a national leader in specialty distribution.

"Mailender's storied history in the industry and exceptional customer service make it a great addition to the Imperial Dade platform," said Robert Tillis, CEO of Imperial Dade.
Jason Tillis, president of Imperial Dade, said Mailender will provide Imperial Dade with a foothold in the large and growing Cincinnati market.

"(That) is key as we expand geographically and grow nationally with our customers," Jason Tillis said. "We enthusiastically welcome the Mailender family into Imperial Dade."
Mailender's CEO Andrew Abel said there were many advantages to his company becoming a part of Imperial Dade.
"The legacy we have built here at Mailender over the past 90 years will provide a great foundation for growth for Imperial Dade in our region," Abel said. "Under the leadership of Imperial Dade, we will be able to continue to provide exceptional customer service while accelerating the growth we have experienced in recent years."
