Jersey City Heights Farmer's Market To Reopen With Music, Crafts

There will be free music and activities this weekend when the Riverview Farmer's Market reopens.

JERSEY CITY, NJ — The Riverview Farmer's Market in Jersey City Heights will reopen this Sunday, May 1.

The market takes place at Riverview Fisk Park, which has a playground, fountain, ample grass, and New York City skyline views.

Opening day will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and there will be music, crafts for kids, yoga, and more.

"Come out and enjoy our full lineup of vendors, live music, yoga in the park, kids arts and crafts, entertainment, and more!" wrote the organizers.

The park is located at 498 Palisade Ave.

Music Lineup:
10-11 a.m. Rockassori
11:30-12:30 p.m. Zydeco Revelators
1-2 p.m. Christine Santelli

Activities:
All day kids arts & crafts (while supplies last)
10-11 a.m. Yoga in the Park with Meraki Yogini
10:30-11:30 The Bubble Man
12:30-1:30 Juggler

Down The Hill

For those who want to take the Light Rail elevator down to Hoboken or walk along the 14th Street Viaduct, their farmer's market under the Viaduct reopens the following Saturday.

The Uptown Farmers Market will reopen on Saturday, May 7, after a four-month break. It'll be located under the 14th Street Viaduct, like last year.
