Jersey City to Honor Martin Luther King Jr. with Church Service
Community Leaders and Organizations Unite for Reflection, Empowerment, and Justice on January 15th

A special Martin Luther King Day Church Service will be hosted by the Jack and Ronnie McGreevey Civic Association on Wednesday, January 15th, at 7 p.m. The event will take place at A Better Life Ministry, located at 129 Linden Avenue, Jersey City.
In partnership with the National Action Network, New Jersey Coalition of Latino Pastors and Ministers, and A Better Life Ministry, this evening of reflection and empowerment will honor Dr. King’s legacy and inspire attendees to pursue justice and positive change in their communities.
Keynote speakers for the event include prominent figures in the community: Reverend Al Sharpton, Founder and President of the National Action Network (NAN); Host Pastor Bishop Jevah L. Richardson of A Better Life Ministry; Reverend Steffie Bartley, Northeastern Regional Director of NAN; Reverend Daryl M. Griffin Sr., Senior Pastor of Monumental Baptist Church; and Reverend Raul Ruiz, President of the New Jersey Coalition of Latino Pastors and Ministers.
The service will provide an opportunity for attendees to join in prayer, reflect on Dr. King's teachings, and reaffirm their commitment to building a more inclusive, compassionate, and just society. Special emphasis will be placed on community service and the steps each individual can take to make a meaningful difference, particularly for those most in need.
