Jersey City Man Charged With Sex Crime Against 9-Year-Old Girl: Prosecutors
A Jersey City man was arrested Thursday and charged with a sex assault involving a 9-year-old girl, prosecutors said.
JERSEY CITY, NJ — A Jersey City man was arrested Thursday and charged with a sex assault involving a 9-year-old girl, prosecutors said.
Nestor Moreno, 28, was arrested by the Hudson County Prosecutor's Special Victims Unit and charged with second-degree sexual assault by contact and third degree endangering the welfare of a child, prosecutors said.
Prosecutors said the crimes "occurred on multiple occasions in Jersey City in 2019 when the victim was 9 years old. The victim is known to the defendant."

He was arrested at the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office in Secaucus and taken to the Hudson County Correctional Facility pending his first court appearance.
