Jersey City Woman Disappears Walking Dog, Considered Endangered
The New Jersey State Police are looking for a 31-year-old woman whom they say was last seen in Jersey City walking a dog.
JERSEY CITY, NJ — A 31-year-old Jersey City woman with schizophrenia is missing after she was last seen walking a dog, the New Jersey State Police said in a social media post this week.
Gemika Gladys Ross was last seen on Saturday, Sept. 2, walking a dog in the area of Baldwin and Beacon avenues at approximately 11 a.m.
Police described her as "a Black female, with brown eyes and black braided hair. She was last seen wearing a white pajama shirt with unknown designs, black sweatpants, and black sneakers. Gemika suffers from bipolar disorder and schizophrenia."

They said it's believed she may have traveled to the Paterson, N.J. area.
She doesn't have her medication with her, they said.
