Lebanese Restaurant Opens Near Jersey City Waterfront

The new eatery in Jersey City focuses on "fresh, healthy, and flavorful" dining options.

JERSEY CITY, NJ — A new Lebanese restaurant held its grand opening in Jersey City on Wednesday.

Naya, which features "modern Lebanese flavors," opened in the Newport Tower, steps from the city's waterfront, on Wednesday morning.

The eatery is the latest location for a chain founded in 2008.

The Naya menu includes dishes featuring chicken, falafel, lamb and braised beef, as well as customizable bowls, salads, and rolls. Ingredients range from rice to hummus to grape leaves.

Patrons can enjoy 17 toppings, as well as appetizers, dips, and desserts.

A release noted that the chain opens in "densely populated 'live, work, play' environments with complementary co-tenancies," making Jersey City's waterfront the right spot.

The new location is open each day from 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.

The chain has 42 locations in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, and Massachusetts.
