Man Held Up And Slashed While Walking In Jersey City: Police
A Jersey City man was robbed and slashed five times with a razor on Tuesday while out walking at night, police said.

JERSEY CITY, NJ — A Jersey City man was slashed with a razor on Tuesday in the Greenville section of the city, police said.
Shortly after 1 a.m. on Tuesday, a 52-year-old was assaulted from behind while walking on Armstrong Avenue, said a police spokesman, "by a masked man who demanded his money."
The man was slashed by what police believe was a razor, said spokesperson Stan Eason. He suffered five cuts to his face and was treated at Jersey City Medical Center for non-life threatening injuries.

The suspect fled with a packet of cash and identification, Eason said.
The incident is still under investigation.
