Second Fire

Later that night, the Fire Department had to respond to another fire that left people homeless, this time at 155 Grand St., around 10 p.m.

"Upon arrival, firefighters observed a 4-story building attached on both sides with fire on the
top floor of the fire building. A second alarm was transmitted due to heavy fire in the cockloft and extension into the Bravo exposure. The fire was quickly brought under control."

There was fire and water damage througout that building, and some smoke and water damage to 153 Grand St.

The Red Cross is helping at least five adults from both Grand Street buildings.
