Man Killed In Jersey City Shooting; Police Seek Suspect
Police are still working to identify the person that fatally shot 26-year-old Raquan Bass on Saturday morning.
JERSEY CITY, NJ — A 26-year-old man is dead following a Saturday morning shooting in Jersey City, and police are still searching for a possible suspect.
Around 11 a.m. Saturday, police were called to a report of shots fired in the area near 94 Grant Avenue. When they arrived, they discovered the victim — later identified as Raquan Bass — had been shot in his upper body, police said.
Bass was taken to Jersey City Medical Center where he was pronounced dead, police said.

Jersey County police, as well as the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office, are investigating the shooting. Anyone with information is encouraged to call 201-905-1345 or submit an anonymous tip online.
