Man Sexually Assaulted Girl, 14, He Met Online, Hudson County Prosecutors Charge

Prosecutors charged that the Jersey City man sexually assaulted a girl in his home when she was 13 and 14.

JERSEY CITY, NJ —A 19-year-old Jersey City man was charged with sexual assault on Monday relating to crimes at his apartment in January and February of this year when the girl was 13 and 14, Hudson County prosecutors said.

The Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit arrested Ali Ibrahim of Jersey City on Monday, prosecutors said. He was charged with second degree sexual assault and third degree endangering the welfare of a child.

He was remanded to the Hudson County Correctional Facility pending his first court appearance. The Prosecutor’s Office filed a detention motion, tentatively scheduled to be heard this Friday.
