Man Sexually Assaults Girl On Her Way Home In Jersey City, Prosecutors Say
A teen girl was sexually assaulted while on her way home in Jersey City, prosecutors say.
JERSEY CITY, NJ — A Jersey City man has been charged with sexually assaulting a teen girl who was walking home last month, prosecutors said Thursday.
Levar Collier, 24, was charged Thursday with sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a minor, said the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office.
Prosecutors said a 15-year-old girl was walking home on Aug. 21 and encountered Collier.

Collier later sexually assaulted the girl at a home on Sherman Avenue.
Collier was arrested Thursday at a residence on that street and taken to the Hudson County Correctional Facility to await a court appearance, prosecutors said.
