Man Fatally Shot In Jersey City, 1 In Custody
A man was shot to death in Jersey City and an arrest has been made.
JERSEY CITY, NJ — A man been charged with killing another man in Jersey City early Wednesday morning, prosecutors said.
Terrence Glenn, 49, of Jersey City, has been charged with murder in the shooting death of Leighton Brown, 47, said the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office.
Prosecutors said that at approximately 12:50 a.m., the Jersey City police were notified of shots fired on Fulton Avenue in the area of Bayside Place.

Police found Brown with an apparent gunshot wound. He was
taken to Jersey City Medical Center and pronounced dead several hours later, prosecutors said.
Prosecutors later apprehended Glenn, charging him with murder, possession of a weapon, and certain persons not to possess a weapon, prosecutors said.

The fatal shooting is the sixth homicide in Jersey City this year, according to city statistics.
