Free Drinks, Prizes Offered When Dunkin' Reopens In Jersey City

A Dunkin Donuts in downtown Jersey City will reopen Thursday with giveaways for the first people in line.

JERSEY CITY, NJ — A downtown Jersey City Dunkin' Donuts is the latest in the chain to reopen after renovations, and will give away prizes on Thursday morning.

The renovated Dunkin' at 402 Grand St. will host an opening on Thursday starting at 9 a.m.

The first 100 Rewards members in line on Thursday — who are 18 or older and live or work in the area — will get 30 days of free Dunkin' Refreshers. Customers must sign up for Dunkin' rewards and will get their coupons in the Dunkin' App.

Guests are also invited to spin a prize wheel to win Dunkin’ merchandise, while supplies last, and enjoy a free Dunkin’ photobooth from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

A ribbon cutting ceremony with local dignitaries will take place at 10:30 a.m.

The newly remodeled, 2,000 square-foot Dunkin’ employs 28 crew members and is open 24 hours per day.

To commemorate the opening, Dunkin’ Franchisee Manish Doshi of Doshi South Network will make a $3,000 donation to New City Kids, in conjunction with the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation. New City Kids offers faith-based, after-school programming for local youth from under-resourced communities.

The restaurant will boast a "next generation design" with new colors, modern technology like a new tap system for cold drinks, and more.
