NJ Woman Angry At MVC Lines Kicked Cops, Smashed Computers: PD

The woman had a PCP-laced marijuana cigarette as she punched employees and kicked police officers, according to reports.

BAYONNE – A woman who was angry about long lines at a Motor Vehicle Commission agency this week kicked police officers, damaged computer equipment and punched employees, authorities said.

Shawna Joseph, 28, of Jersey City was charged with aggravated assault and drug possession after she was angry when she was told to leave the Bayonne MVC on Tuesday, and then later returned and caused more trouble, according to according to PIX11.

Joseph, who initially ran into trouble at the MVC agency at 2 p.m., had a PCP-laced marijuana cigarette in her possession when she was arrested later, according to nj.com.

When she returned at 3:50 p.m. Joseph pushed the manager, smashed computer equipment, and then punched the manager and security guard, according to nj.com. She kicked police officers while they attempted to place her in handcuffs, according to the report.

MVC offials told Patch that they weren't immediately available to comment.
