Dr. Charles Talks about His Healthy Lifestyle

Dr. Lwoodsky Charles is a primary care physician at Hackensack Meridian Health Primary Care in Clifton, New Jersey and on staff at Palisades Medical Center.He believes in understanding his patients' perspectives to help them live healthier lives. Dr. Charles is dedicated to partnering with his patients on their health journey, which he believes leads to great results. He focuses on explaining the basics of forming good habits, such as a healthy diet and exercise, to empower his patients to make informed decisions about their health.
Born in Brooklyn, Dr. Charles grew up in Haiti until he was 15 years old. He then moved to Irvington, New Jersey for high school and now considers it his hometown. He is a graduate of two New Jersey universities and completed medical school in Grenada. Dr. Charles is fluent in English, Creole, and French and is affiliated with Hackensack University Medical Center and Palisades Medical Center.
In his personal life, Dr. Charles maintains a healthy lifestyle. He was a track runner in high school and college and continues to run, walk briskly, and do strength training. His diet is inspired by his Caribbean heritage and includes plenty of fruits, vegetables, yams, sweet potatoes, green bananas, and white fish. For entertainment, he enjoys the rhythmic Kompa music of the Florida-based band Nu-Look.
