Teen Accused Of Killing Jersey City Man To Be Tried As Adult
A teen was charged with murder last year for fatally shooting a man in Jersey City, the Hudson County prosecutor said.
JERSEY CITY, NJ — A Jersey City teen will be prosecuted as an adult for fatally shooting a Jersey City man last year, prosecutors said.
Naheim King, 18, of Jersey City was charged with murder in the shooting of Rahiere Morris, 20, last January, said Hudson County prosecutors.
Prosecutors say that shortly before 8:30 p.m. on Jan. 3, the Jersey City Police Department responded to a shooting in the area of Lembeck Avenue and Old Bergen Road.

They found Morris with an apparent gunshot wound to the torso.
He was taken to Jersey City Medical Center and pronounced dead at approximately 9:35 p.m., prosecutors said.
