Teen Charged With Murder Of 18-Year-Old In Jersey City: Prosecutor
A Jersey City teen was charged Wednesday with murder in the death of Naseer Munroe on Friday.
JERSEY CITY, NJ — A Jersey City teen has been charged with murder in connection with the stabbing death of Naseer Munroe, 18, in that city on Friday, prosecutors said.
The Hudson County Prosecutor's Office said that Wednesday, their office arrested a 16-year-old Jersey City boy and charged him as a juvenile with murder, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, and unlawful possession of a weapon.
He was arrested at the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office in Secaucus.

"Juvenile matters are confidential and no additional information can be released at this time," prosecutors said.
Jersey City police responded around 8:55 p.m. on Friday to a report of a stabbing in the area of Duncan Avenue and Wilmont Street on the west side of the city.

They located Munroe with an apparent stab wound to the torso, prosecutors said.
Munroe was taken to Jersey City Medical Center and was pronounced dead shortly after 10 p.m., prosecutors said.
Meanwhile, prosecutors are investigating the death of another teen, who was dropped off Monday at Jersey City Medical Center by a private vehicle. The 18-year-old was pronounced dead a little over an hour later. READ MORE: Prosecutors Investigate Death Of 18-Year-Old In Jersey City
