JERSEY CITY, NJ — Jersey City residents who've been pushing for hybrid council meetings have achieved a partial victory. Thursday's City Council meeting will be livestreamed while taking place at City Hall at 6 p.m. See link:

Those who wish to comment must still attend the meeting in order to speak on the record. The change is that now, people can watch from afar, even if they can't comment from afar.
A petition on-line for meetings to be both livestreamed and hybrid has resulted in more than 1,000 letters being sent.
