HUDSON COUNTY, NJ — A woman was killed in a multi-car crash in Jersey City late Sunday morning and five other people were injured, the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office said.

Prosecutors say that according to an initial investigation, a Chevy Tahoe driven by Desiree Milow, 36, "collided with multiple vehicles along Garfield Avenue between Danforth Avenue and Wegman Parkway before coming to a final stop." By the time police arrived, they found Milow deceased.

Prosecutors say that five other people were taken to Jersey City Medical Center to be treated for injuries.

Reports said that the woman was a working mom of four.

The Hudson County Prosecutor's Office said that around 11:58 a.m., someone called the Jersey City police about a crash near Garfield Avenue and Wegman Parkway. Upon arrival, they found the damaged cars and people injured.
