2 From Lacey Go On $9K Shopping Spree With Stolen Cards: Police

The pair used the victim's credit cards at several shops throughout Manahawkin and Forked River, police said.

LACEY, NJ — Two Forked River residents face charges after spending more than $9,000 with stolen credit cards, police said. The pair used the victim's credit cards at several shops throughout Manahawkin and Forked River, according to authorities.

Sander Schneider and John Juliano were charged with 11 counts of fraudulent credit-card use, possession of stolen credit cards and conspiracy to commit credit-card fraud, Stafford police announced Friday. Schneider was also charged with theft of lost property.

Stafford police received a report Wednesday of a stolen purse. The victim dropped her wallet in the parking lot of Carolina Select Furniture in Waretown. The suspects used the victim's credit cards at stores including Lowe's, Home Depot and Walmart, police said.

The suspects were identified after Stafford police posted surveillance footage to their Facebook page. Police also recovered some of the fraudulently purchased merchandise.

Schneider, 52, and Juliano, 47, aren't listed in the Ocean County Jail's database of current inmates. Both have pending court dates.
