2 Steal From Lacey Walmart, 1 Attempts High-Speed Escape: Police
A man fled from loss prevention and drove at high speed before authorities stopped him, police said.

LACEY, N.J. — Two people shoplifted from Lacey's Walmart in separate incidents over the past week, according to the Lacey Township Police Department.
Jeffrey Stiles, Jr., of Bayville, fled from loss prevention Saturday and drove away at a high speed from behind Walmart, police said. Lacey police observed the vehicle and pulled him over.
Stiles was arrested for stealing $99.83 in merchandise and taken to the Ocean County Correctional Facility, police said. The Ocean County Correctional Facility did not immediately display a picture of Styles.

In a separate incident Friday, Devon Horvath, of Pine Beach, was charged with concealing $760.48 in Walmart merchandise in her purse, police said. Officers Anthony Sarno and Michael Hutman responded for a shoplifter in custody. Officials took Devon to the Ocean County Correctional Facility in accordance with bail reform, police said.
